Roadmaster - Driving Education App

Roadmaster is a Beninese startup specializing in driver’s education, co-founded by a group of EPITECH alumni a few months after they graduated. The platform helps driver’s license applicants prepare for the exam in accordance with local traffic laws.

The design work focused on three interrelated areas: brand identity, the mobile app interface, and the public website. The brand was built around accessibility and clarity rather than authority, using Nunito as the primary typeface, a four-color palette dominated by a bold green, and a logo whose “R” icon also serves as a small brand stamp for the app and the favicon.

Project led by Aman Menda. The initiative was put on hold following the design phase, as the founding team disbanded: several members left to pursue master’s degrees abroad, while others moved on to other projects.

Roadmaster is a Beninese driving-education startup launched a few months after the founding team graduated from EPITECH. The platform helps driving-test candidates prepare for the licence exam under local road regulations. The design work covered three connected fronts: brand identity, mobile application interface, and public website.

The application is structured around two user flows. The student-facing flow holds the core learning experience: chapter content, interactive quizzes that emulate the format of the test, and progress tracking that lets a candidate see where they stand. The instructor-facing flow is a separate dashboard built for monitors who manage cohorts of students, issue activation codes, and follow each candidate's performance section by section.
